Linda Schafer was a dedicated employee for The Animal Hospital of Havasu. Many clients recognized her smile and comforting words when they called or came in. Linda lost her battle with cancer the day after her Birthday, April 28, 2008.
Linda Schafer was born on April 27, 1951, in Waupaca, Wisconsin, and peacefully left this world on April 28, 2008, after a 10-month battle with cancer.
Linda graduated from Waupaca High School in 1969 and married Bruce Schafer on October 17, 1970. While living in Wisconsin they had two beautiful children, Derek and Jami. Linda worked for 23 years in various positions at Animal Hospital of Havasu, where she formed lasting relationships with many clients and co-workers. She recently had to end her employment due to her illness.
Nobody had a more positive, happy outlook on life than Linda. She loved being with family and friends and enjoyed dancing, being outdoors, and working out. She was a member of the Eagles Club and volunteered her time there.
